I-LAND BEAT SOUND SYSTEM is the realisation of the vision of a local reggae fanatic.Sound system sessions are a growing force that can offer experiences that go beyond the musical sphere. The combination of groovy reggae music with conscious and uplifting messages and sound pushed to the limits,can be crucial. A small town like Rethymno has a limited range of cultural happenings and our target is to establish sound system sessions as alternative getaways in the local cultural matrix.

I-LAND BEAT is a one-man project with a little help from friends and is also running parallel activities such as a riddim building project that is operating in turtle-wise tempos so far.There are also plans for certain releases in the future.
